Marissa is currently directing her ten years of experience in advertising and operations within the motorsport industry toward the development of a new platform for Kangaroo TV to be launched in 2010.
Marissa began her career as an account executive at Mediavation, managing a list of blue-chip clients that included Coca Cola, Club Med USA and Ferrari Quebec. An avid race fan, Marissa chased her dream of being involved in the motorsport world by managing events during the three most successful seasons at former Formula 1 venue Le Circuit Mont Tremblant since it reopened in 2001. Following this, she moved to Dynamo Media, an online media and web development company where, as production manager, she increased the company’s profitability by 15% in the course of one year.
Anxious to find a way to formally merge her profession with her passion, Marissa joined Kangaroo TV as an account manager, recognizing product’s future in the sport. Now, three years later, Marissa oversees the operations, sales and product management of the most innovative fan-centric technology in Formula 1.
Marissa is looking forward to showing her team’s work to the world with the release of the next generation Kangaroo TV in 2010.
