Robert Mimeault has twenty five years of experience in the information technology industry including the founding and conclusion of strategic alliances of several successful software startups in the highly competitive IP market, more recently as Founder and CEO of Hullo Inc., President and CEO of Versatel Networks Inc. (2003-6), President of Q5 group (1998-2003) and President and CEO of Televitesse Systems Inc (1994-8).
He is particularly experienced in international sales and marketing, raising capital, recruiting strong management teams and negotiating strategic alliances. He has hands-on experience in raising capital, recruiting management team and Board members, as well as a proven track record attracting the highest caliber staff.
At Hullo Inc., a service provider of VoIP group calling features focused on teen and university markets, Mr. Mimeault defined and developed the concept from ground up to launch of service in 4 months, achieving rapid traction. As President and CEO of Versatel Networks, Mr. Mimeault was responsible for getting the companies’ first clients and growing it in the highly competitive VoIP market. At Q5 Group, he provided management consulting to technology based companies focused on strengthening the revenue fundamentals. Prior to this, Mr. Mimeault co-founded Televitesse, a PVR platform supplier, where he secured patents and implemented strategic partnering with Bell Canada, Oracle and Telesat launching a personalized streaming news video service called Personal News Network (PNN). Mr. Mimeault began his career in the aerospace and defense industry working in sales and marketing.
Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his excellent leadership skills, focus on customer needs and abilities in growing businesses.
