Susan Lute is a strategist, marketer and innovator with one of Canada’s premier retail organizations, Canadian Tire. She currently oversees the marketing and private label brand portfolio for Canadian Tire’s $1.7 billion automotive division.
Canadian Tire is Canada’s largest retailer, with over 475 stores across the country offering a unique mix of automotive, home and leisure products. In 2006 Canadian Tire entered into a long-term partnership with NASCAR, both as an Official Status partner and as the Title Sponsor of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series. Susan took on responsibility for the NASCAR program in late 2008 and has played a central role in helping the company transform the way they leverage the partnership to drive measurable business results.
Prior to joining Canadian Tire in 2006, Susan spent 10+ years in the music industry in a variety of sales, product development, sponsorship and marketing roles with BMG and Sony Music. She holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business.
